Moses Faithfully Led His People

Our Moses led the people through

     The sea that shined and glittered blue

Pharaoh behind ready for war

     The water collapsed as before

The army drowned in water bright

     By that time it was dark as night

Everyone there began to sing

     To great HASHEM their mighty king!

Everyone who was very glad

     Never thought of anything sad!  

He led them with a fire by night

     So they could see with awesome sight

He led them with a cloud by day

     So they won’t get lost on the way

Until they won the Promised Land

     Out of the way of the desert sand!
