Sailors

Tall tales of the sailor's task

    Have been told present and the past;

And now I want to share with you

Just part of what the sailors do.

They start with a boat very new

They sail o'er the sea so blue.

So listen to what I've to say

And listen to the sailor's way

And this is when they start their task

Of climbing up the big long mast

To hoist the sails up so high

And watch the birds fly by and by!

They cast their nets deep in the sea

And wait and wait and wait you see

Until fish get caught in the net

They pull the net that they had set

They pull it up with all the fish

With all the fish they’ll ever wish

Now I’ve told part of their task

With all the details of the past!
