Author Writes That the Story of David's Flight From Absalom Contains a Prophecy of the Gospel

LONGWOOD, FL—In The Scroll of the Gospel of David (paperback, 978-1-60647-161-6), author Tony Robinson clearly demonstates how the story of David’s flight from Absalom, as recorded in 2 Samuel 15:10–20:2, “contains a thematic prophecy of the death, burial and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus)in three days.” He believes this passage is one of many that proves this is “the most prophesied event concerning the Messiah in the Old Testament.”

The author uses an ancient Scripture interpretation technique called “thematic analysis” to demonstrate that the 2 Samuel verses follow the four New Testament Gospel accounts chronologically, proving “in an almost irrefutable manner that Yeshua is the prophesied Messiah.”
